Very thorough inspection on my 1994 Landcruiser. I keep my 1994 Landcruiser in the best shape I can, but he ain't gettin any younger. Only one service issue was a surprise and that was taken care of since it was done only six month ago by a shop that is part of a group of twenty service partners that they are aligned with. Great folks out there. Thanks.

Took my car in to have a leak checked. They found the issue quickly after two other shops couldn't or didn't feel like finding it. Had the repair done far sooner than I would have expected. They kept me informed at each step along the way with a running estimate of what it was going to cost. Gave me the old parts without me having to ask. This is the second time I have had work done there and I will definitely return since skilled, honest mechanics are very rare in Idaho Falls.

Professional and friendly I loved the fact that they were able to get me right in. I also appreciated that they gave me a ride home. It was helpful to have a complete analysis of my vehicle done and help prioritizing repairs. I appreciated their honesty.

I went to these guys because i had never heard anything negative about them but i wont be going back. They had my car for 3 months. I had to go over there one day and they were closed in my car was outside with the windows down and everything open. They had me come and test drive my car and told me it was done got in it and everything was still having issues. They told me that they forgot to adjust the parts which tells me they didn't test drive it and are in too much of a hurry. I had my truck they're being worked on as well and when I got the quote they were charging three times the amount that napa charges on some of the parts. On my truck they were replacing the power steering pump and brake booster and the hoses between and they tried to charge me twice for the hoses being disconnected and reconnected. They dropped the 2nd charge after the mechanic verified i was right. I saved $800 by buying the parts myself and having them put them in and double checking the process to fix my truck. BEWARE.... IF YOU GO THERE ASK FOR THE QUOTE FIRST AND MAKE SURE THEY DONT SCREW YOU ON PARTS AND LABOR. MAKE SURE THEY DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE TO MAKE SURE ITS DONE, they arent in town so most of us drive out of our way to get there.

Satisfied We had a good experience with your shop. The front dest people are very friendly. I loved the text messages. Shane was really great to work with. The one thing I was disappointed in was when I called to see if I could get my car in to be checked. I wish I would have been informed that it would be $100.00 just to check my car out and give me diagnosis. Other shops did not have that fee, so I was a little bugged. They fixed our car very quickly, which was nice. All and all very good experience!

Always Get Great Service I've used this business for the last few years and always received prompt, professional service. The people who work here are always willing to explain what service needs to be done. They also make a little extra effort to ensure their customers have transportation while their vehicles are being fixed, or they will drive a customer home and pick them up when the service is completed. I recommend Empey's for any maintenance or repair.
